Explorer.exe error every time at Windows  start up


  • Open Run box by pressing Windows + R keys
  • Type regedit and press Enter 

  • Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER from the left hive
  • Expand Software
  • Expand Microsoft
  • Expand Windows NT
  • Expand CurrentVersion
  • Highlight Windows
If Load is not available goto


  • Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE from the left hive
  • Expand Software
  • Expand Microsoft
  • Expand Windows NT
  • Expand CurrentVersion
  • Highlight Windows





Now 

Make sure you have permission to edit the key, by clicking menu Edit > Permissions..., then tick the box Full Control in the Allow column > OK.



  • From the keys displayed on the right pane, double-click Load
  • Erase all data under Value data




Then goto 

  • Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE from the left hive
  • Expand Software
  • Expand Microsoft
  • Expand Windows NT
  • Expand CurrentVersion
  • Highlight Windowslogon
  • From the keys displayed on the right pane, double-click Shell
  • Make sure the value of shell is only EXPLORER.EXE if not change it to "EXPLORER.EXE" by double clicking on it
  • Click OK
  • Reboot your system to apply the changes




    -: Create Folders And Files With NO! Name Change Icon And Hide it :-

    This trick will allow you to create files and folders without any name.

    Just follow the steps as given below :-

    1) Select any file or folder.

    2) Right click on it, select 'Rename' or simply press 'F2'.

    3) Press and hold the 'Alt' key. While holding the Alt key, type numbers '0160' from the numpad.

    Note :- Type the numbers '0160' from the numpad, that is, the numbers present on the right side of the keyboard.
    Don’t type the numbers which are present on top of the character keys.

    4) Press Enter and the nameless file or folder will be created.

    Reason :- The file or folder that seems nameless is actually named with a single space.

    Now change its icon

    for this ::--

    1. right click on folder and goto properties
    2. goto customize menu
    3. click on "change icon"
    4. choose any icon
    5.and apply the setting



    NOW LETS HIDE IT

    1. first right click on folder then goto properties
    2. here in general menu mark the hidden and apply it

    IF THE FOLDER IS NOT HIDDEN YET COMPLETELY

    Follow these steps:--
    goto to view menu and unmark "hidden items option" (ONLY FOR WINDOWS 8)

    for XP , win 7

    1. goto tool menu (if tool menu is not visible PRESS "alt key")
    2. goto folder option
    3. mark don't show hidden items
